Class Levels Defined
Beginner - This class is designed for dogs with very little or no agility training. Please click here for more information about this class.
Pre-Novice - This is not a class for beginners. This level is for dogs that have extensive training in agility, but are not quite ready for competition. Usually there will be one or two obstacles that still need to be refined.
"Refine" means to improve the dog's performance on equipment that they have been previously introduced to. To be considered refining their performance, they should be around 80% of the way to performing the obstacle confidently on their own. This class level is not appropriate for dogs that are not ready to attempt a straight set of 12 weavepoles.
Novice - This class level is for dogs competing in Novice Standard in AKC, USDAA or level 3 in CPE.
